“Kadri Voorand is a first class joyfully rousing entertainer with a great voice, great timing with a group of first class musicians closely tied together and flexibly underpinning her spontaneous asides and excursions. Voorand is a hi-fly as well as earthy type of artist who is able to sing on top level in different contexts (witness her contribution to the recent recording of Estonian composer Tõnu Kõrvits’ album Mirror (ECM New Series). In her performance, “directed” from the piano chair, élan, tempo, spirit and soul went hand in hand. She sang in her native language and when she shifted to wordless singing it by far transcended old school scatting. With her performance she proved to be a unique thoroughbred entertainer on a high musical level who hits people’s body and soul. In that capacity she clearly deserves still more international exposure.”

Luca Aquino
Luca Aquino, tra i musicisti jazz italiani più apprezzati nel panorama internazionale, inizia a suonare all’eta’ di diciannove anni da autodidatta. Per due anni abbandona la pratica dello strumento per completare gli studi universitari in Economia e Commercio. L’amore per il suono di Miles Davis e Chet Baker lo riconduce allo studio della tromba e lo porta a dedicarsi completamente alla musica. Lo spirito del viaggiatore è allo stesso tempo metafora perfetta del suo percorso artistico ed espressione della sua cifra stilistica.
Gianluca Petrella Trio 70's
Uno dei più talentuosi trombonisti al mondo (ha vinto per due anni consecutivi il il celebre “Critics Poll” della rivista Down Beat, nella categoria “artisti emergenti”), Gianluca Petrella (classe 1975) ha iniziato la sua carriera oltre 20 anni fa.
Ha collaborato con artisti internazionali – quali Steve Swallow, Greg Osby, Carla Bley, Steve Coleman, Tom Varner, Michel Godard, Lester Bowie, Sean Bergin, Hamid Drake, Marc Ducret, Roswell Rudd, Lonnie Plaxico, Ray Anderson, Pat Metheny, Oregon, John Abercrombie, Aldo Romano, Steven Bernstein e la Sun Ra Arkestra diretta da Marshall Allen – e con importanti musicisti italiani come Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu, Stefano Bollani, Giovanni Guidi solo per citarne alcuni.
